If you are looking for a dog walker in Frederick, I highly recommend Susan. 

Susan is so thoughtful and caring. She treats our dog Bruce as if he was her own. She goes above and beyond to not only provide a service, but to establish and build a relationship with her clients (pups and their parents too). She is a great communicator and escalates any issues of concern. For example, Bruce wasn't acting like himself and I had made a vet appointment but wasn't able to get into the vet until later in the week. That week during a scheduled walk, Susan noticed Bruce was shaking with pain during one of her visits and immediately contacted me. She stayed with Bruce until I was able to get home to take him to the emergency vet. Susan has a lot of experience working with animals and I value that in someone who I'm entrusting to walk/care for my fur baby. In addition to how great she is, the app she uses is really nice. It's easy to book, cancel, and edit appointments. There's even a little report card that goes out at the end of the visit that I look forward to receiving. It tells me if Bruce drank water, peed, or pooped. It also shows a map of the route they walked and she always includes really cute photos of Bruce. In addition, the app will notify you when she arrives to care for your pet.

I can't say enough great things about Susan @ A Bark Above Walk. Her genuine love for pets is apparent from the moment you meet her. She has taken wonderful care of both my senior Shih-Tzu Bailey, and energetic puppy, Nico. It's clear that Susan has a wealth of experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments. She's incredibly patient and attentive with Bailey, ensuring he gets the gentle care and slower pace he needs. At the same time, she knows exactly how to handle Nico's puppy energy, making sure he's happy, exercised, and well taken care of. I trust Susan completely, and it's such a relief to know that both of my dogs are in such caring and capable hands. Highly recommend her services for anyone looking for a dedicated, pet-loving professional!
