ABOUT ME:

Hello! I'm Susan B. Owner and exercise coach @ A Bark Above Walk. I was born and raised in Frederick, MD, attended Salisbury University and earned a BS in Elementary Education in 1998. I have a background in collections, sales, marketing, and teaching. I love love kids and animals!

I started my small business in Frederick from the ground up 5+ years ago and grew it to over 80+ clients. I have extensive experience in working with dogs of all shapes and sizes - from Rotties and German Shepherds to Chi Chi's and Frenchies. I enjoy taking care of a variety of companion pets as well. From cats and hamsters/guinea pigs to fish, beardies, and birds.

In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my 9 1/2 year old Pommy Dixie, going to the gym, hanging out with friends, and exploring the DMV area.
